Xbox One, Top of console glossy sides, Filled with scratches.

I tried calling support but to no prevail, they couldn't help, but they told me to post on the forums. My xbox, on the top is filled with scratches completely, I don't move it and I lightly wipe it with a microfiber cloth and it leaves tiny scratches that
you can see in the light, it's completely filled with these to the point if you don't know if it's getting better or worse. Is there a fix? Can I get some compensation or atleast something to fix these scratches? It might've even came with the xbox, But there's
no way that a microfiber cloth that i've always used, made these scratches.

Anyone peel off the warning sticker below disk drive yet?

My X1 came scratched up on the glossy side on the top....hard to see unless your at the right angle because of the lighting...very odd lol there like big circular scratches and under the xbox one emblem logo it got keyed underneath lol ...didnt notice until
a few weeks later.

I feel your pain bro. I just got my xb1 today and used a microfiber cloth to clean the specs of Styrofoam and a nasty scratch appears it's a terrible design. *** me off. I might return it

The play station 4 does the same thing. I'm sure you can use a polishing compound to gloss it back up if it get too scuffed. Otherwise to protect it, buy some clear vinyl wrap for cars off ebay, works well to protect any surface, I have it on mine and
it's been treating me well.

I went through 4 XBOX ONE consoles and they all had scratches on them. The one I have now currently has a few light scratches across the front near the power button and a small V colored discoloration on the plate around the disc slot. TBH, the glossy
parts are going to get scratched up. If you remember the PS3 when it first hit, it scratched really easily. There are a bunch of plastic polishes on the market that will remove light scratches. You should look into those. Or just Google PS3 Scratch Removal.
You should find a ton of info that way.

I personally wouldn't worry about it. If the console works and the scratches arent deep ones, it is normal. Like I said, the plastic glossy parts scratch really easily. You are sure to get a lot more over time. Hope this info helps

I think that'd be up to the retailer, but I don't see why not. You may have an issue with supply right now though. I've been curious about supply and the Xbox One seems pretty sold out where I've been looking.
