    Hello "Randver" Xbox One to PC :)

    It's a Pavilion dv6 with Windows 7 64-bit home OS, 4GB DDR3 RAM 1333Mhz, 1GB AMD HD Radeon 6490, 4 USB ports (2 of them 3.0 USB 2 2.0), disc drive, yes it's a 15' laptop, and Intel Core i5 processor 2.4Ghz turbo boost to 2.9Ghz. And yes HP put an HDMI port
    on it. Got it 2011.

    I can use the HDMI port for viewing what I do visually on my laptop on my HDTV, but not for Xbox 360 and don't think so for Xbox 1 for viewing on my PC. I've tried hooking up my 360 slim console but it doesn't work. I'm going to stick with my HDTV as a display
    monitor. As soon as I saw the HDMI port I just assumed it would work when I tried to connect my 360.

    The HDMI port on your laptop is output only so it will only send the signal to another monitor/TV.

    There are some higher end gaming laptops that have input/output HDMI ports that allow you to do what you attempted but it's not a feature you normally see. Most laptop gamers like to be mobile so it would be nice feature to have in order to take a console
    on the go too.

    How will the Xbox One version differ from the 360?

    Minecraft will not cost more than the pc version. The xbox one is a pc, we will likely see an equivalent version from the pc on xbox one.

    Do you think because xbox one uses direct x 11.1 and windows os plays a key role? Should be easier for pc and xbox one developement or porting from pc to xbox one. Or the other way around xbox one to pc.

    Xbox One games themselves cannot be played on the PC. You can however download PC games that are Xbox Live enabled. Some of these are Xbox Play Anywhere games, and as was stated, there is Xbox Game Pass for PC which lets you play over one hundred PC games.
    These are a mix of PC games & Xbox Live enabled PC games.
