Xbox one to complicated....

My Full HDTV has 4 HDMI ports. My 360 uses on of them and my 1 uses another one. I do-not hook up my 360 to my 1 to play on it. From my experience, Xbox 360 slim 250gb console starts up faster than Xbox 1 and the time it takes to load messages friends parties
and achievements is quicker on 360 with the controller.... than on Xbox 1. If anyone wants me to do a video of my experience with it, message me. I don't want to start a war, but I prefer the 360's UI and will only create a video to show you that for me, 360's
UI is my favourite.

 

lol Why we gotta message you? Post a video of the 360 loading things up faster than the Xbox One in this thread for everyone to see, just like I did. And by the way, my TV has 4 HDMI ports as well. But instead of bringing out the remote and switching inputs,
I can switch over to my 360, you guessed it, instantly. But hey, just for the sake of this video you're going to show everyone. Plug your 360 in to your Xbox One like I did just to make comparisons easier.

Actually, I would like to see a Video of someone opening a simple message and replying to it on xbox one. This process takes me over a Minute while in a game and thats really the only Thing I am frustrated with. Maybe because i'm in Germany and the Servers
are overseas but ist just soooo slow. Same with friends app and this stupid feed that will slow down the friends app.

Yes, the guide button is insteneaous, but not the Standard apps like mentioned above...

 

Here's the message comparison you asked for proving it's faster and easier on the Xbox One. But honestly, if you're trying to send messages on a console, you're doing it wrong. When someone sends me a message, I get a notification from smartglass on my phone.
Then I open it up and reply like I would any other text message

 

Thanks for the comparrison but I cannot open the Video, it says ist private.

I know smart glass is more efficient sending Messages but this is just an example on how slow it is. I also have a wireless Keyboard hooked up on my x1 so chatting would not be an issue...

Hi everyone. I've recorded two short videos me on my 360 UI the other on my 1 UI. The 360 one is about 6 minutes long the 1 one is about 8 minutes long. Uploading to Youtube. Both vids should be on there in about 2 hours from now. It's just to illustrate
my user experience on both Dashboards. The title is Why I like the Xbox 360 UI (be part 1 and part 2). I'm no professional but I thought I'd be social. I'll post another comment on here when it's complete. Don't judge me. I just want to show these vids respectfully.

 

I find my 360 is alot slower with signing in and loading stuff at start up. Signing in on the Xbox One is instant and loading stuff on it is way faster even on a cold boot.

 

So this is why candy bars have arrows and open here on them.

is not open to NZ unless members over here temporarily change our locale setting to Australia to give voice commands a go. Sword and goatsnatcher will understand. Xbox 1's UI isn't bad, but I just prefer the 360 UI and see why the OP and some peps consider
it complicated and a bit slow with better hardware architecture coming from Xbox 1. Sure Voice coms are faster but for those of us using the controller...

Did anyone check out the videos I posted? For me and some others, navigation using the controller... is faster on 360 than on 1. I encourage yous to check it out. Look up "Why I like the Xbox 360 UI" on Youtube. I made a (part 1/2) and (part 2/2).

To me the software is kind of laggy on Xbox 1. Both my 360 and 1 are connected to my home network. Notice the difference in loading times for messages and friends list and how 360's is faster. Of course, 360 uses different XBL servers. Maybe Microsoft has
360 XBL servers more closer to NZ and Xbox 1 servers tend to be more far away.

 

Accessing friends, recent players, messages, and Achievements is faster on 360 (mostly due to the mini guide). It is not even disputable in my experience. But as far as it being complicated on the XB1, No.

 

My X1 is much faster than the 360, except when booting up, as I'm using "Energy Saver". I use Kinect on the X1 and everything is instantaneous; the few times I've compared them JUST using the control pad, they seemed to be about equal on most things.
