And no, stating the obvious is not trolling. Every business is in it to make money...both MS and Wal-Mart would sell the X1 at $1000 if they could.

Xbox one titanfall bundle at Wal-Mart?

Where can I go to talk to a Microsoft rep to see if they know if Wal-Mart will be a retailer for this bundle?

 

I'm guessing market share.... standard procedure for all product retailers... trucks, cars, food products, alcohol..... No one ever pays sticker price for a new car....

Ps4 has games though, their lowering it because its not selling, I have a X1, its not worth its price nor is the Ps4. IMO both are overpriced cheap pc's. Better off getting a 360 and buying alot of game. The X1 will be $400 MSRP by xmas. If their lowering
them this early it means there not selling.

 

I dont remember the launch 360 (or launch PS3 for that matter) having price decrease for "tax" purposes. This is surprising . It would seem to indicate that supply is higher than demand when it comes to the Titanfall Bundle. Great time to by a One if
you are so inclined though.

supply constrained.

The deal applies to the regular version of the console as well as the Titanfall version. Under normal circumstances, most goods
manage to maintain an inventory at retailers. If that wasn't true, you wouldn't find things on the shelves when you go to Best Buy, Target, Wal Mart, any supermarket...

Actually, the Xbox One is crushing Xbox 360 sales in comparable timeframe. They can just afford to buy more market share.

Car companies are barred from selling direct to the public in several US states. This is because the auto dealerships pushed through laws banning direct sales. They did this under the guise that cars are hard to understand and salespeople are an integral
part of the car selection process. They argue that without salespeople people will buy the "wrong" car and that car companies will require people to drive to remote locations for servicing.

While some of this may have been true at the dawn of the mass-produced automobile, it hasn't been true for decades. At this point, it's just a system in place to maintain the status quo and fleece buyers out of their money. Tesla, being a new company that
doesn't require the ridiculous infrastructure of a dealership network, refuses to sell their cars via dealerships.

Cars have nothing to do with consoles, right down to their sales models. Don't compare the two.

I didn't omit any facts. When it came to the 360, demand was greater than supply. At least thats what I recall. I got lucky with my first of 6 consoles. I stood in line for my launch PS3, which still works to this day. I agree with Ice's tax suggestion,
but that would only happen if supply was greater than demand. If they were flying off the shelfs or there was a supply issue then these sales would not be happening. It is what it is fellas. Personally, as a consumer, I would rather have a demand issue
(Xbox One) than a supply issue (PS4).

 

Ice..... sorry to burst your bubble..... other than the amount of 000's at the end of the amount... they are marketed the same way... your Tesla motors is a poor example (never even heard of them).... I think Mac trucks put it best:
