GeForce GTX 760 I just googled (shock, right lol) that looks awesome. Is that to install in your PC mate? Much of a boost on what you had before hand?

 

It's a treat to myself to add more power ready for Arkham Knight.

The card is a big step up on the GT640 I have at the moment, which is a solid little card in its own right.

 

All this PC talk just makes me glad I'm a console gamer lol.

Seriously though. Stuff is plug and play these days.

 

Even so, I still find console gaming better.

Not worrying if this game will work or not, or is this the best this game could look, is there better graphics card out there? I have played games on PC and didn't like it and don't want all the hassle. With the Xbox One I know it will be good for 5 or 6
years and I don't have to do anything to it.

To be fair I don't know a lot about PCs, so maybe that's why I prefer console gaming. But consoles is a fair playing ground where all games will look and play the same.

Also not being a PC gamer, I don't have that 'I think I'm better than you' attitude =P lol.

 

If there was more Sim City, strategy type games on console I probably wouldn't bother with my PC for gaming at all.

As I always say though, all the recent "console vs console" debates about resolutions etc, if you really want the best visuals and having seen some games running at high res on a good gaming PC, then forget about either console, this is the place to be.

I can vaguely remember switching a RAM card out on an old Windows XP (R.I.P.) and I spent hours trying to find out how to install it once I had plugged it in. I am going back a good few years and my knowledge back then was shocking. You can imagine my expression
when I found out it was plug and play after those long hours of needlessly playing in device manager. I was trying to play a game called pod racer but even with the upgrade, my specs wouldn't play it lol.

I agree with Lofty there, that's what I think when I see all these console wars drumming on about how prettier the game looks on another platform. If I had a good PC I would link a picture in them threads of myself stroking a high end piece of kit and then
just end the debate there lol. Though this is xbox.com so I am sure someone would pick at something for it.

Drunky I am the same bud. I can dismantle my laptop to the last screw and put it back together but I can only do it with a youtube guide and I always end up with spare screws when I put it back together lol. I had to do it a few weeks back when my Pug
took a squat and peed all over my keyboard.

I wouldn't be a paid up Gold member until 2016 if I didn't like what my console offered. At the same time I like the adaptability of the PC platform.

Lol!! Got to say though bud, you keep your set up really dust free! Going back again to my XP PC, that thing was littered with dust mate. I mean like, thick layers upon layers of it.
