Xbox one (The name)

Since everyone is used to the name now can u guys at Microsoft just start referring to the Xbox one as the X1 its like the same thing and it sounds better trust me.

Xbox infinity would have been better, i hated when people called it 720....they went with one because they are marketing it as an all-in-ONE console....with all the backlash they're getting and if it doesn't end up selling as well as they hoped, i predict
a new design, less features, and new name within the next 3 yrs.

To be honest the idea of "Xbox 720" Is way better then a xbox one, the only reason for microsoft choosing "One" because this is so called the begining of a new generation of gaming so called to microsoft.

I refer to it as "Xbox 1" cuz I don't call Xbox 360 "Xbox three sixty". Xbox 3 would be perhaps appropriate. I watched a Hitler youtube video featuring Xbox 1, sorry... Xbox One, actually I'm going back, Xbox 1... that's better. In the video which has English
subtitles, he mentioned it's not the first Xbox console created by M it's the third Xbox console created by M. They got the one idea because the wanted it to be an all-in "one" entertainment thingy

 

I call it "The One", because it is.

 

I suppose we should be calling it "the one" after all many people say "360" when talking about their Xbox 360, so why not do the same with the One.

 

I always refer to it as "the one" ..Like you said shaggy,,the xbox 360 is known as the 360.

 

Yeah, just make sure you capitalize it, Shaggy, because it's a proper noun (as in, the One).
