    Xbox One Terrible Lag Despite Meeting Requirements


    Been having this issue ever since I got my Xbox One last month. I don't have this issue on my PS4 or PS3.

    I ran a detailed text twice, one right after the other and here are my results.

    First Test

    Download Speed: 4.99 mbps

    Upload Speed: 0.33 mbps

    Packet Loss: 0%

    MTU: 1400

    Latency: 143 ms

    Second Test

    Download Speed: 6.31 mbps

    Upload Speed: 0.32

    Packet Loss: 0

    MTU: 1400

    Latency: 141 ms

    According to the official Xbox Support Page (Xbox One Streaming Help | Low Streaming Quality on Xbox Live) I'm exceeding the download speed and upload speed required for online gaming.

    I also read here on the forums that the servers are based in Seattle, and another person here recommended someone go to http://www.pingtest.net/ and choose the Liberty Lake, WA server and test it on their computer. According to that site, ping is 107 ms. Line
    quality is a B*.

    So far all I've tried to play online on the One is NBA 2K15 AND GTA V. Can't play either comfortably or even half way. I'm on the same exact network on my PS4 and PS3 and have no issues.

    Can someone please help? If this is the way it's gonna be I'm kind of regretting getting an Xbox One.

    I don't know if this helps but I've only noticed it with Smite and Black Ops 3, both games are downloaded copies and not physical copies.
