    Xbox one Teredo Ip Issue


    My son has a huge issue at the minute. After playing online for months his Xbox one S is now having an issue with being unable to find a teredo IP address. I tried everything to clear the problem and as a last resort I have factory reset the console.
    We now have the additional problem of the console, on setup, being unable to access the internet to update and use the console. So now it's just an expensive paperweight. HELP!!

    How can this be fixed? Is it the router? and if so how do I change the options in order to fix it? Failing that is there a way to bypass the setup/update so i can get into the system and play offline? According to all the forums the ISP wont be interested
    and either is Microsoft.

    Teredo IP Issue

    So I've never had issues with my Xbox One connecting. My NAT is Open, the Xbox can connect to the internet, no problem. Recently, just after the last console update actually, I have been unable to fix the issue of my xbox reading "Can't get Teredo IP address"
    on the multiplayer/NAT test.

    We have an **** Surfboard 6700AC, and Internet exceeding 50 MB Down, 10 MB Up.

    I am on IPv4, there is no option to enable/disabled IPV6 on our router.

    We have attempted MAC address clearing, port forwards, enabling/disabling UPnP, DMZ Hosting, Static/Manual IP, and I'm considering factory resetting my Xbox at this point. This is highly frustrating and our ISP has confirmed there are no security or access
    protocols in place to deny Teredo / multiplayer access.

    If anyone can help/advise?

    I just ran a test with dmz set on my laptop's ip, and all xbox-related and teredo/ipsec related ports were open. and when i put the dmz on the xbox one's ip, still gives me the stupid cant find an teredo ip adress.... this is just beyond frustrating.
