Xbox one tampered with

Got my son an xbox one in September. It turned out to be faulty. Took it back in November and got a new one. This month sent it away to xbox as it was shutting off in the middle of game play. Just got it back and the haven't fixed it as the say it has been
tampered with. My son is 8 yr old. He hasn't opened it. Not like we are going to open it as we know that voids the warranty. Believe me after his first one was faulty the problems we had getting it replaces through argos. And now this. So disappointed. Disgusting
service.

Hi, about three weeks ago I was playing on my Xbox one s and it suddenly turned off and wouldn't turn back on, when you press the on button it makes to sound and lights up for a second then nothing, I tried a new cable, a different plug socket but nothing
worked. I rang Microsoft and they told me to send it to them which I did, I got the Xbox back about a 12 days later with a note saying that when they inspected it they they found I had "tampered" or opened it which isn't true and they have canceled my warranty
on it. I've tried going to Currys which is where I bought it from but they won't deal with it and say it's up to Microsoft, please help because I have not tampered or opened it, I'm thinking about complaining to trading standards if they will not fix it.

How long ago did you buy the console? If under 12 months in the UK it is the job of the retailer to deal with issues you are having.

I would advise to try and contact Xbox Support, explain the situation and maybe they can do anything to sort the issue.
