Xbox one taking long to update

Is this an update for an stable OS build?
Or may i know if you're using an insider build / beta OS in your console?

If it's the first, please try manually updating your console using the offline update method.

The update is taking long depending on the download speed that you have

or turn off your router for 30 seconds then back on and begin the update again sometimes a restart can help solve this

usually it doesn't take too long to apply an update . I suggest you reset the console to factory default (you can choose to keep your game&apps):
