Xbox one system update has caused my console to malfunction

What type of problems are you having with the game? Please make certain that your system is completely updated as most game malfunctions are caused by missing or failed updates.

Just to clarify, the console should work anywhere without physical issues. Some BluRay movies are region encoded, which can cause issues with an out-of-region console. Also since Xbox One support has not yet reached Switzerland, we cannot guarantee the quality
of connection to Xbox Live beyond the initial system update, nor can we offer the same level of customer support if something malfunctions.

For the best compatibility all around, we always recommend purchasing the console in the region in which you intend to use it.

Its been reported that the April update has caused some controllers to malfunction.

Reports of drifting, lagging by moving in certain directions and pressing of buttons are among the issues. Newer controllers have been working fine and then essentially bricked by the update.

Support recommends doing a power cycle and then unplugging the Xbox One from the power for 5 minutes. Afterward powering on the console via the controller.
