Xbox one system update failing at 80-90%

I recently sent my Xbox one in for repair because I was having trouble updating my console. I sent it for repair and got it back today (sent it out 10 days ago).

I was sent a replacement console and it's doing the same thing! Gets to 80-90% roughly and gives me an error code. I know it can't be my console since Microsoft supposedly fixed the problem but I'm getting fed up. Any answers please?

The system update that is trying to install is failing validation during the system update file verification.

Solution:

To resolve this issue, you will need to install the Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool.

I can get to about 80-90% complete, video will be on my Xbox One. But it fails to upload to OneDrive.... Been doing it about two weeks now, and it's taking me hours now to do a 5 minute video

and click on Update My Console Offline.

Update hanging around 70-80% (and probably any other percent):

Symptoms:

That day one update stops loading at about 70-80%

Solutions:

OK, so if it's stopping at this point, that indicates a network error. There are a few things we can try.

The first will be to go through the basic network troubleshooting like we would for a 360 update. So restart router/modem, try to simplify the network, try a different network.

If that doesn't help, try the following:

1) Power down the console by holding the Xbox button on the console for 8 seconds

2) Unplug the power cables

3) Let the console sit for 1 minute

4) Reconnect the console and power it back on

5) Try updating again
