    Xbox One System occasionally turns on without sound working


    I have my Xbox one setup with my TV and Sound System linked. The majority of the time, I can say "Xbox on" and everything will turn on and go to the last TV station I was watching (with sound).

    However, occasionally the system will turn on and everything seems to be working but there is no sound coming out of of my speakers. This includes the TV station as well as sound from the Xbox Main Menu (so its not TV/Cable related). My receiver is turned
    on and has the correct input but there just isn't any sound. It's not on Mute or a Low Volume.

    Essentially, I have to turn everything off and back on again which will fix the issue.

    Why the sporadic sound issue? Is there some configuration issue? Is the Xbox one sending the signal to fast to the receiver? I'm not sure how things are connected but it's annoying :/

    Xbox noise when turned off

    my Xbox one occasionally makes a sound like it's reading a disk when it's turned off. I turn the console off by holding the controller button and selectioning turn off console.

    TV and Surround Sound Setup

    Hello, I have a question involving setting up my Xbox One to turn on and off my TV and my Surround Sound system. My current setup is through HDMI and it goes from the Xbox One to my Pyle Surround sound system then from the Pyle Surround Sound system to my
    Samsung Smart TV. I have tried numerous times to set it up so that when I turn on my Xbox One everything turns on, and when I turn off my Xbox One everything turns off. How would I make this work? I would also like to be able to control the volume of the Pyle
    Surround Sound system from my Xbox One if possible.

    Pyle Surround Sound Model Number - PT590AU

    Xbox One select correct receiver input?

    Well I'm not sure if this is useful or not but here it goes:

    I own a RCA Kevlar sound system (old but really great sound)

    I hooked it up to my TV and tried to get it to work through the xbox.

    The first code muted the system and the volume worked, When I turned the Xbox off, so did my sound system.

    However, when I turned everything back on it would switch to AM radio. So annoying.

    I attempted the audio device setup on xbox again, skipped the first code this time as well as the second one (didn't work)

    The third once again muted and controlled the volume. This time the xbox couldn't turn the receiver off though.

    After ripping my hair out, I realized that I never turned on the toggle setting for the audio device. Once I did that it worked like a charm. Stays on AUX with the second code that worked. The first one that worked was turning my sound system on and off
    without the toggle being on.

    My advice would be to select "no" the first time it asks if the mute function worked, even if it does. Try to see if another code will work and make sure you have the toggle on.
