    Xbox one system error, help?


    i and an Xbox one and play daily, i've had the Xbox one since release day and never had any problems.

    My girlfriend bought an Xbox approximately 13 months ago, meaning her 1 year warranty

    has expired, she turned the Xbox on the other day and it wouldn't load past the initial start up screen(the green screen)

    i looked through the Internet and found this was a problem many other people had ran into.

    i contacted xbox support via the phone and was told to follow certain steps as the problem could be that Xbox one is failing to update so it's just stuck on the same screen.

    I tried all these steps, I called Xbox back and they said to look into the forums? an anyone help with this problem and if not could anyone tell me what I do regarding

    Sending the Xbox off for repair (I've never ever ran into a problem with any Xbox I've had, so don't know the whole process)

    Any help would be massively appreciated and hope that I can get this sorted asap. Thanks. Zak.

    Blu Ray & DVD App Problems

    DVD giving all the same error and never bother with US Blu Ray.

    Xbox support was not helpful kept saying system was down and call back later.

    Try these steps first.

    How to Troubleshoot an Xbox One Disc Error

    It sounds like you might have a faulty drive or a faulty disc. Have you tried another disc?

    EDIT: Disregard my last line as it sounds more like the update has caused this bug in some X1's and you've just been really unlucky with timing. No doubt MS will fix it soon.

    Did     u try this offline system update, so hopefully one of the other solutions help. First troubleshoot your network connection

    Are     you part of the Xbox Insider program? Because Xbox consoles enrolled in the Xbox Insider Program receive preview updates, performing an Offline System Update (OSU) will not resolve this issue.

    It might also be worth resetting your router or trying a different network, if possible. A mobile hotspot or over a wired connection perhaps?
