    Xbox One System Error: E203 0000080C 800703F0


    My sons Xbox One stopped loading after initial green screen and after following the troubleshooting guide it told us to do a manual update with USB. We have now used 2 different USB and it always gets to 77% of Step 3 or (0% overall and shuts down. If I
    turn on Xbox again it starts back up at 66% of Step 3 and runs until it shuts down at same 90%. I read a few post that suggest you just do a Factory reset and it will fix it, but I cannot do a reset with applications or factory as it just beeps and shuts off
    controller and never does anything. He normally uses a external hard drive that we removed before running the manual update will this cause the failure and if yes should I add it back before running update? He does not want it to lose any data so I do not
    want any additional problems from a MS update?

    If it goes to service and is several months out of Warranty does MS cover issues caused by updates? If it is getting to 90% I cannot believe there is Hardware failure as it never should get that far in updates? What are the Service costs?

    it's a new xbox when turned on it says something whent wrong at top of screen and system error at bottom with the error code

    E203 0000080C 80073CF6 So I tried to troubleshoot my Xbox but every time I do I hear the second power up noise
    and then my Xbox turns off , but if I let it boot up normally it just loads and pops up the error code

    Please can you tell me why you have been trying to reset your Xbox console?

    The E203 error shows when there is a problem installing a system update. Is this why you were trying to reset the console?
