Xbox One System Error? Backwards Compatible Game Corruption? ( Fallout: New Vegas? )

I've just gotten up in the middle of the night, and while I've been awake I came to check on a download for my Xbox One - Fallout: New Vegas ( a backwards compatible game. ) And sure enough it had downloaded. I then proceeded to launch it in order to make
sure the game had downloaded without any problems. I then got a message pop-up saying: Sorry, we can't do this right now. The game file/save is corrupted try uninstalling, then reinstalling it. I've done this multiple times, via digital download and disc,
and I kept getting the same pop-up. Then I thought maybe if I hard reset my console it'll fix the problem. I then hard reset my console and and now it's saying: Something went wrong. Whenever I restart or hard reset the Xbox it just comes back to the same
screen. But, when I click Troubleshoot I'm given 4 options: Restart this Xbox ( doesn't work ), Reset this Xbox ( Restores Factory Defaults; which I'd rather not do ), Offline System Update ( which is not available, and seems like it'll be a tedious and arduous
process to go through ), and Turn off this Xbox ( which has thus far been useless. ) There's also a System Error Message at the bottom of the Troubleshoot screen it says System Error: E200 00000074 00000000. I'm very tired and have work in the morning so any
advice on my current predicament would be much appreciated, so when I do come home from work my Xbox is fully operational and ready for me to play.

Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 need to be on Xbox one backwards Compatibility

Both games are already backwards compatible.

 

I'm having the same issue via both digital and disc, if anyone knows a solution to this please let us know. Also if anyone is having the same issue comment here so this thread receives more attention. Thank you.

 

I'm having the same issue. Went to load Destiny (disc version), and got the game file/save is corrupted try uninstalling, then reinstalling it error. Tried hard-resetting the Xbox and got the same System error.

All of this happened after XCOM (backwards compatible) finished installing.

I've tried doing the Offline System Update, and it gets to 37% on applying the update before stopping and going back to the 'Something went wrong' page.

 

I've fixed the problem by just following the step-by-step Offline Diagnostic Update Tool on this website.

 

Bruce are you using the right one: ODUST2?

 

And did you extract the files to the USB after downloading the ODUST2 file?

 

Wait. My Offline System update just crashed at 33%.

 

Yeah, thats where I get to as well using the ODUST2 file. The update will install fine but then crash while applying it.

Going to wait to see if anyone knows of a way to fix it, else I'll try factory resetting it and see how it goes

 

I don't think this is just a backwards compatibility problem because I was watching YouTube on my Xbox when it happened to me.

I talked to the Support and they didn't know what screen I was talking about and If you go to the more info site, none of the troubleshooting scenarios even cover this.

My offline system update isn't fixing this problem either. My update crashed around the 30 percent mark as well.

 

I've reset the xbox through the Troubleshoot menu (keeping games and apps). It seems to have done the job....fingers crossed

 

IT WORKS!!! If you reset but keep games and apps all you have to do is set up your profile again and you are back in business.

 

I ran into the same issue 2 nights ago. I am attempting to do the offline tool but also get the same screen at 37% into applying the update.

When it says keep games and apps will it erase my game saves though? I really don't want to start every game from scratch. I also don't save to the cloud so they are all on the hard drive.
