    Xbox One System and Controller Issues


    System Issues:

    - I've been told that the Xbox One is supposed to be quiet, as it makes little to no noise. It was at first when I got it back in October but now it makes noise and I don't know whether it is the fan or if something is wrong with it.

    Controller Issues:

    - If my Xbox one is not connected to the internet or randomly disconnects itself for no reason as it does a lot, the controller will not connect, as if it is made to only connect to the X1 if the X1 is connected to the internet. (It probably works properly
    5-10% of the time).

    - I also have a charging cable for it, but the controller still will regularly disconnect and when it does, stop working (for the reason above). If the controller is even slightly moved when the charging cable is plugged in the controller will disconnect
    and I need to reconnect the charging cable by unplugging and plugging it back in.

    Side note:

    - I still have the warranty which covers both the controller and console since they were bundled so it can be exchanged if that's how the problem is fixed.

    It's just the beta box having system issues.

    Xbox randomly disconnects controller.

    Its not the controller. Tried one thats a year old and still does the samething happens to that one. Even though it works perfectly on my normal xbox one i usedaily using the same controller. It has to be a system issue.

    Right Side of Controller inoperable

    Only thought would be trying a known to be working controller with the system. If it works then the controller is bad and needs to be replaced. If it doesn't then the system has an issue. I had a Day One controller that had a right stick drift up issue and
    only solution was buy a replacement to make sure it was the controller and to use while I mailed it back to Microsoft for a replacement day one.

    Xbox one controller disconnecting?

    I have same issue. I just got this new Xbox One X Gear Of War edition and this is 3 time is happening. I have to reset the system by pressing the man power button and reconnect the controller. I never had this issue with my old Xbox One X system. Any fixing
    for that?

    I've never had that issue with my Xbox One original... or Xbox One X unless the controller batteries are low. I also have never heard anyone else with this issue before.

    You may want to ensure the battery levels are not low when this is occurring or possibly perform a hard reset on your Xbox. If that doesn't fix the issue it may be a hardware defect with your system. Especially if this happens with a wide variety of Xbox
    One controllers.
