Xbox One Switches on but has no screen

Hi,

is anone able to help with this or know how to fix it

i went to play Crash Team Racing and it didnt load, a message popped up but before i could read it my son cancelled it off,

i went to switch my xbox on and it wouldnt power down, i had to hold the power off button on the console itself,

when trying to switch it back on the controller wouldnt switch it on, i pressed the xbox button on the console and it made the on noise, however thats as far as it gets, its acting as if there is no signal, i have tried a different HDMI lead, i have soft
reset it, i tried my partners xbox my TV with my leads and hers worked fine, i tried my xbox using her TV and her leads, still didnt work, so i tried a complete reset using eject and power button, but it wont let me do it, it just keeps making the on noise
about 10-15 times rapidly and wont go further than that, i have tried leavinng it off bit didnt work,

is anyone able to help please im stuck and dont want to send it for repairs if its something simple ?

If that is a hardware issue, and noise is very suspicious, you can register your xbox for repair here:

I hope that problem will be solved without this.

i think thats the route im going to take, nothing seems to be working anymore, therefore i am goong to het it sent of for repair,

Hello after leaving console unplugged for a while does it still just make the power on noise no picture? DO you have an external HDD connected to console? If so I would unplug that and start console up by itself and see if that works.

Please try this:

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

2. Wait 30 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.

3. Press and hold the BIND (controller sync button located on the left side of the console or bottom right if a one S or one X) and the EJECT button and then just press the Xbox button on the console once.

4. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

7. To reset your console from the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, use the D-pad and A button on your controller to select Reset this Xbox.

9. When prompted, select Keep games and apps. This option will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.

Another thing. When you in the troubleshoot try to change your resolution.
