Xbox one surround sound not working

My xbox one is on dolby digital however it is only coming out of this first two speakers next to my tv. It is not working on the center speaker or the back speakers. My hdmi is new and powerful and I know my receiver is picking up the dolby signal as it
says it is But the center speaker is not working. Even when I check and uncheck the box of surround sound beta. It worked before the update and now it seems not to be working at all. All I get is the 2 channel and only on games will the back two speakers work
but not the center still. I have tried with an optical cable as well and it is still not working. If anyone has the answer I would love to hear it. Thank you!

XB1 Surround Sound Issue

The Xbox One doesn't currently output surround sound. However, Microsoft is working on it and will be updating the Xbox One to output in surround sound soon.

Can't Watch SD

Currently, the xbox one does not support digital surround sound via HDMI pass through. I believe they are working on a fix for this.

If you need surround sound, you could perhaps use a S/PDIF digital optical cable from the xbox to your surround capable receiver

 

have tried bitstream selected, other than that I aint got a clue.
