Xbox One supports playstation gold wireless headset?

I heard that you can use the playstation gold wireless headset on the xbox one with the chat adapter? Has anyone tried it? Because it would be awesome If I could just buy the gold headset and use it on my ps3 and xbox one for only $130.

Sony has revealed at Comic-Con that the PS4 will have support for PS3 wireless headsets. I guess this is good news for PS3 owners who have a particular headset that they are very fond of and don't feel like buying another. What's interesting about this though is that the PS4 will automatically come with its own wireless headset when you purchase it.

Xbox One S Wireless Specs

Found this today on Microsoft's support site:

"In addition to wireless protocols 802.11 a/b/g/n dual band, the Xbox One S adds 802.11ac to its list of supported network protocols. If you have a wireless ac router, you can use that network to connect your Xbox One S to Xbox Live."

Assuming the mic works via the cable included to go to the Vita, it should work. It'll be in stereo instead of 5.1.

I have the same problem ,

The headset must connect with the xbox one s as wireless, but the wrotw that must looking for another adapter.

So but the headset with playstation is ok , and it connect with usp wireless...

It was the sony's I was interested in initially so glad to hear they're an option. Not a bad price too so don't mind nabbing the X1 headset adapter. They look identical to the playstation gold wireless headset. Are they the same?

One more Q; Will they work with a standalone TV or will I need an optical adapter?
