    Xbox one support is a terrible! Why can't I file a complaint? Should have bought a PS4


    I purchased the new system directly from microsoft as a Christmas present to discover that the disk drive and kinect do not work. Due to the hours of the UPS store I was unable to ship until Jan 2-2014, this shipment has since became delayed and there is
    no estimate as to when it is going to move forward. It is very frustrating to purchase a system as a give to have it fail, then need to ship it out and then find out is further delayed and microsoft will do nothing to help expediate the process except tell
    me I should have sent it out as advanced exchange.

    The only option to expediate the exchange process, before you place the order, is to have a hold on your credit card for the purchase price of the system!!! Why is it my problem that microsoft put out a whole bunch of systems that don't work? All in all
    the purchase of the Xbox One has been a disappointment to say the least, Should have purchased a PS4.

    I have wasted several hours looking for venues to discuss this directly with Microsoft and there is nothing they are willing to help with.

    Xbox One will be the last microsoft product I ever buy

    I bought a launch day 360... Worked great up to the day I traded for a slim. I know I'm one of the lucky ones, but that system gave me no trouble. The idea of the 'One' is great... But so far it's a fail. I can't tell if its a hardware issue, a software
    issue, or both together. Like I said however, it is still better than the competition.

    First off I enjoyed my xbox 360 other then the red light of death it wasn't bad. Since buying the xbox one I have had nothing but problems and they seem to continue. I have been in contact with xbox support which offers help that doesn't work so now I am
    left with a $500+ console that is crap. So him sure I am not the only one that is experiencing these problems and if you are as well feel free to chime in or have figured out a solution please comment.

    Slow load times on just about everything from reading a message to getting another program to work while navigating through the home screen. Taking a minute and a half to get to see a message someone wrote to me is unacceptable.

    While playing games xbox one continues to put me back at the home screen and renders the game not playable until the system is restated.

    Dedicated servers ha ha yeah right I run at 50kbps and somehow still experience lag in matches like battlefield which I will more then likely chalk up to whoever is hosting .Nobody is on my internet so not looking like that is my problem and I am hard lined
    in.

    Kinect voice control needs improvement badly I am almost yelling at the Kinect so it can do the simple commands.

    Some reason although games are installed on my hard drive and I have the disk my xbox is asking me to finish installation which has been done for quite some time so shouldn't be any reason to go back to that.

    Although I have contacted xbox support the only solution they have given me so far is to unplug the console, hold the power button in front for 10 seconds, leave it unplugged for 60 seconds and turn it back on and see if it works better. Well guess what
    it isn't working better the problems are still there and very present.

    Sorry guys for my ranting this wasn't what I expected for buying a xbox one console and although I figured it would have some bugs that would need to be fixed this is just a bad taste in my mouth and I have seen no answer from Microsoft in regards to these
    problems.

    Yes. The UPS issue isn't an issue I have with Microsoft, I was mainly dissapointed that the console didn't work in the first place and they aren't able to do anything about it. I tried to get them to advance me a new one while mine is waiting to get to
    them but they won't because that's not how I set up the exchange originally. It is strange that there isn't any way to change the exchange now that it is in transit but that is what I'm being told.

  6. There's really nothing can be done if it's in transit. Please hang in there and keep checking on it, I own a xbox one and this machine is unbelieveable when it works. I hope everything works out for you.

    My Xbox works (thankfully) and it is awesome! Just get one that works and you will be very pleased with it!! Trust me! It's an excellent console!

    I bought one and it works fine, I am completely disappointed with it however.

    It cant do half of the stuff my 360 did and the voice commands and watching TV through the Xbox are just gimmicks.

    Don't forget, when the 360 came out, it was bare bones. Look at it today. The Xbox One will need time to get all the features the 360 currently has. It's not like they can cut and paste apps on over to the new console. It takes time to make agreements
    and deals with developers so they can get content for the Xbox One. Once all this happens, the One will be completely sweet! Just give it time!

    Just pray that your power brick does not go out on you. Despite the claim that you can swap it our for a new one. That new one never comes. I'm a PS4 convert now.
