Xbox One Summer Update - after updating the game streaming to PC keeps disconnecting

meatman75, is your Xbox on wired or wireless? I tried the beta app and it seems to work with minimal issues if my Xbox is on wireless but falls apart on a wired connection.

Xbox App streaming random disconnects after Last Update (July 1st 2016)

ive got same issue, streamed perfectly fine before and now it keeps disconnecting yet all my other internet and network related things work fine, just xbox app streaming issue now after update

 

No Files Found With Media Player

Same problem here. I've got media on four drives on my PC. I use Serviio to stream the files around. The xbox media app initially saw all four drives normally but after the update for some reason insists there is no content on one of them. Weird!

 

I used to have the "Lost Connection" issue, but I haven't had it for a while. Now every 15-20 minutes my games get very laggy. I have tried both the normal Xbox App and the Xbox App Beta; they both are up to date. The lag seems to only affect the games,
and not the dashboard. When the lag starts I hit the guide button, and the dashboard works fine; if I go back to the game it will still be laggy. I have tried resetting my modem and router, holding the power button on Xbox, and clearing the blu-ray persistent
storage. The Xbox console is also up to date. The only thing I don't have up to date is Windows 10; I don't have the Anniversary Update yet. My computer keeps downloading that update, but it keeps failing to install it. I also am using a wireless connection.

Sounds like your computer may be having an issue and you'll want to troubleshoot getting the Anniversary Update installed. Have you tried a wired connection yet? Which Xbox App and Beta App version are you running currently?

 

I've had a few sessions to test and haven't had a single issue with 19.21.23005.00000, not even a hiccup in 4-5 sessions with it. Any clue what the issue was within that app that was corrected?

 

Just to follow up, I've been playing for over a week now using the beta App with my Xbox One on Wifi without issues. Last night it started experiencing terrible lag and hiccups. Switched to the standard app, same issue. A reboot of my Xbox One fixed it
for me. I'm not entirely sure this is an issue with the app?

I was connecting on wired Xbox One and PC.

XB1 - HUB1 ---- HUB2 - MyPC

+--- router(FreeBSD10 Server) - Internet

HUB1:NETGEAR GS108

HUB2:NETGEAR GS108

Of course, the link state is GbE.

(I don't think my router(server) is important in this case.)

No lag on TV(direct connecting to Xbox One), at this state.

this behavior has beem seen on my PC or laptop.

my laptop is alienware13.it has i7-5500U and GTX960M, MEM 16GB.

in the video, even when experiencing lag, transfer rate is at least 5mbps.

on average about 8mbps. I feel like in the network no problem.

At the end of this video, cut off the connection.

this is recording before summer update, there was no problem.

Looks like Reddit has got something about folks having trouble using a
LAN connection.

[Tech] After a year of bad game streaming to W10 with 90Mbps internet, I have found a solution. It is working flawlessly on "very high" decoding for me and hopefully this might help one of you too. : xboxone

For those that don't want to use the link, i will conclude the possible fix below:

1. Open Network and Sharing Center by right clicking the network icon in the tray on the bottom right hand corner and clicking "Open Network and Sharing Center".

2. Click "change adapter settings" on the left of the window.

3. Right-click your ethernet adapter, and click properties.

4. Click configure.

5. Go to advanced tab.

6. OP suggests that on the advanced tab there should be an option for a "Energy Efficient Ethernet", i however couldn't find it. If there is an option for you, or anything along the lines of "Energy", go ahead and disable that by simply clicking
on the option and then choosing "Disable" from the drop down menu on the right.

7. Still on the advanced tab, find "WOL & Shutdown Link Speed" and change the value to
"100 Mbps First" (or largest given amount).

8. Hit "OK" and restart your device.

9. OP suggests that a hard reset is applied on the Xbox One by holding the power button for 5 seconds, i do not see though how that correlates to all the rest of the settings above.

That should conclude what has been suggested on the Reddit post. If this still doesn't work i'd either mess around with the settings on the advanced tab, or just lurk around on the Reddit post for any helpful replies.

I unfortunately can't test this as my router is across the house and a LAN connection is not practical for me.

Unfortunately my issue exists where the Xbox One is wired (LAN) while my laptop is wireless.
