Xbox One suddenly not playing a game anymore

Are you playing the game digitally or using a disc? I would try performing a
Power Cycle and see if that gets you anywhere. If not, try uninstalling the game fully along with any DLC that is related and game saves and reinstalling it. From research, some people have also encountered the issue when reaching a certain stage in the
game, do you receive any error codes from the game or dashboard?

Come back with any results.

I already tried you solutions but that didn't make a differance. The only solution was to reset xbox to factory defaults and completely reinstall the xbox. now it's working again since 5 min.

The Groove Music app was NOT useless. We have been using it to play CDs on our Xbox Ones for years now. Suddenly, the app is gone, and now I can't figure out how to play a CD anymore. Anyone know?

So just so we are on the same page, Port Forwarding has been done? If so we noticed that the upload speeds are pretty low, which can cause these errors too. What we can try is a reset of
the problem might be on the actual OS of the console so we would suggest a

Soft Factory Reset (while keeping games and apps) IF AND ONLY IF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA IS MET:

• There is a stable network connection.
• The information for all profiles is known (email and passwords)

Once the setup is complete it will ask if we want to keep settings or manual setup lets do manual setup, this has the added benefit of clearing all the caches and any leftover data on the console which can slow down its performance and clearing any
issues on the Microsoft accounts as well. Give it a shot and let us know of any changes!

We suggest, if it hasn't already been done to clear out the caches on the console: First things first the game cache:

Storage

Clear local saved games

IF THE CONSOLE IS CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET no progress or purchase data will be lost, what we accomplish by doing these steps would be to resync the profile to the cloud getting rid of any corruption
as a byproduct.

To clear out the Network Card Cache (alternate MAC address)

Alternate MAC Address

Clear and Restart
