Xbox one Subcriptions Different on xbox 360 and xbox one

I have known for a while that xbox family subscriptions have been discontinued, but what i found out today was that the other account i have added on it, has lost its gold membership. According to xbox support, only the xbox one supports the changes xbox
has made to the family subscriptions, that once you have one xbox live subscription, you would only need that one to acces gold fetaures across 10 profiles. It seems really unnecessary that xbox would make it so that you have to pay for another xbox live gold
subscription just to access gold features across the xbox 360. The changes that xbox support clearly said are, that once the xbox live family subscriptions were to end, that the xbox live gold membership would be available to all profiles as long as you have
one that you are paying for. What xbox didn't say was that you would have to pay for an extra gold membership to access gold on the xbox 360. I think it would be nice for xbox to change the description of their help forum to clearly state that you would have
to pay for another subscription to have xbox live gold on the xbox 360.

Multiplayer

Can i play multiplayer on xbox 360 without had a gold subcription ?

 

If that's what it says than I agree the wording should be changed as to not mislead people.

wait, whats the address of the webpage you found this info? If it was under "xbox one" of course they're not going to say anything about the 360 gold..and you already knew you needed another gold account to access the games on xbox 360..thats how last gen
worked.

 

I have a Gold subscription that is carrying over from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One; my brother also has a Gold subscription on both of the Xbox consoles. However, he is working and I am not, so he can continue to pay for his subscription while I can't. Once
my subscription runs out, I can still play on the Xbox One and access all of the Gold subscription features and content on it, since his account will be on the console with his Gold subscription. However, I will lose access to any Gold subscription features
and content on the Xbox 360 as a result, since the service works differently on that console, regardless of whether my brother's account is on it or not. It's a bummer to be sure, but that's the way the service is run on the two separate consoles - it's built
into the programming of each console differently than the other. For now, there's not much we're going to be able to do about it, I'm afraid.
