Xbox one stuk on 480 resolution and no fix works

we have been having issues with his xbox One S for a while now, with the display, turning it on to a glitchy screen

and we have to keep resetting the settings, but now, we can not change the resolution form 480 back to 1080. have tried all the fixes but still will not change, power cycling, changing hdmi cable, different tv, we are currently doing a reset but after
it said "preparing console" it went to a blank screen , the console light is still on but we're not sure if the process is still going, we chose the option to keep games and settings, how long should this process take, its not a full factory reset but not
sure if the screen should be blank any advice please?

Try it in this order, unplug power from the tv and console, now wait 2 mins, now plug a different hdmi cable, plug tv back in, turn on, now plug power for console back in, turn on and see if any change

Try a different hdmi and now for connection type, pick the auto tab, restart tv and console and see if it picks up the correct resolution

thanks for the suggestion, that didnt help either, the reset didnt do much to help, going back thru settings set up it told me "we are having trouble finding the right resolution from your tv"

it gave me 720 or 1080 option, none worked o we're back to 480. but i dont get why it cant get the resolution, same on another tv too... wondering if the hdmi port is faulty

It will not work on any other resolution besides the lowest one (640 x 480)
