Xbox One stuck one home screen

Its frozen halfway at the part when you press the guide button and your screen minimizes. None of the buttons work except for holding down the guide to turn off the console or controller.

What do I do?

my xbox one is always stuck on xbox home green screen,then turns black,sometimes it turns off and sometimes it just stays on. Any help would be great. thanks.

 

xbox one freezing/stuck on home screen

can't get out of the "corrupt" notification page. Won't go back to home screen. Help!

 

I noticed that something was still running inside the console even when I turned it off, so a simple unplug looks like it did the job.

 

Glad to see you figured it out. For future reference you can hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds to also force a shut down.

 

Holding the power button like onyx62is said also worked for me.

 

God these Xbox systems are so glitchy, no where near as refined as Playstation...nothing but niggles all the time. really wish id stuck with Sony tbh
