    Xbox One stuck on black screen of death


    Ever since I downloaded COD: Cold War my Xbox has been taking forever to start up. This morning when I turned it on it surprisingly loaded a bit faster, but loaded into a black screen. I can hold down the home button to get the turn off controller/console options and press the home button, and the home page-side of the screen lights up but nothing else happens. I tried doing a power cycle but that didn’t work, restarting it won’t work either. Can someone help?

    I have just experienced the same issue. My Xbox crashed in the middle of an update and now after the green boot up screen I get the black screen of death. I've tried soft and hard reboots and after holding down the sync and eject button I am now stuck in low resolution black screen of death.

    Not sure what I'm supposed to do and now my sons and I are without a gaming machine.
