    Xbox One Strict NAT...


    @FearedNightmare -- when I said "Dlink DGL4500 with DSL "dumb" modem" that is exactly what I meant, there are no "dumb" personal routers (unless we are talking about switches/hubs). The modem JUST relays from the ISP to my personal router.

    Found a post regarding "Virtual Servers" that may prove useful, I'll post results after researching and trying it out.

    Why having troubles with NAT type ?

    You need to explain the issue in detail. Is your xbox getting a moderate or strict NAT? Is it a double NAT? If it's the moderate or strict NAT, look into port forwarding or placing the xbox one in a DMZ through your router.

    Sometimes, parties have technical issues due to a strict NAT type.
