Xbox One Streaming - Screen is blurry

Whenever I stream Xbox One games on Windows 10 (even DVR streaming does the same thing)--half of my computer screen is "stretched out" and "blurry". It's bizarre. Additionally, this ONLY happens when I'm streaming/using the DVR, everything else works perfectly.

Has anyone had a similar issue? Is there a fix for this?

Xbox Streaming black bars

my monitor has a resolution of 1920x1080. But when streaming I've got black bars on the top and bottom. Even when a game isn't playing, and then in games the bottom of the screen looks messed up or like it's blurry. How can I stream in full screen?

ONE thing you could bring into Halo 4 from the previous games

One inconsequential thing I would change is the way the initial load out screen goes all blurry before a match starts. It reminds me that I'm getting old because real life has occasionally been going blurry on me lately.

I’ve tried these steps and still have had no change to the stream, anytime I load a stream it just shows a blurry broadcast preview and my viewers see a generic Xbox loading screen

Hi Alex IN,

Here's a trouble shoot to Improve Xbox Console Companion Quality but i have a feeling it wont help all that much because
it mostly talks about wireless.

Is the stream on the companion app itself Blurry/pixelated? OR is it only when loading the source to OBS blurry? OR is only the final stream output (Streaming/Recording)

This is to establish where the problem may be.

If the stream on Xbox Companion App is blurry, then i'd recommend making sure there's no congestion(too much traffic) on the network, and ensure you're using 100/1000mb network cables to both PC and Xbox.

If the stream on the OBS source is blurry, you may need to adjust your resolution on your monitor where the Xbox Companion App is, and make sure its a resolution such as 1920x1080.

If only the OBS output is blurry, then i'd suggest looking into the OBS settings, and making sure that your bitrate is set to between 2000 or 4000. You can go higher if your internet upload allows for it.

There are a couple other settings that i'd recommend you check on OBS too such as the profile, and the encoder. the New NVENC encoder for nvidia GPU's is very effective.

I'm having an issue where the xbox powers up. And the "xbox one" screen comes on. But the picture is blurry. Then when the controller should appear on the screen to go through the set up. It doesn't. And the screen just goes black. Any ideas what could be
