  1. Xbox one Streaming no sound with bluetooth headphones

    Hi,

I'm streaming my Xbox one to my laptop, not having any big problems apart from when i pair up my Bluetooth headphones i don't get any sound from the Xbox. I seem to be getting sound from the TV (i'm normally watching football or something while playing on
my laptop) but if i plug in some normal headphones it works all fine, and i know the Bluetooth headphones work because i can ALT-TAB to you tube or something and i get sound like normal. Anyone got any idea why its doing this, or any idea on how to fix it?

    Thanks

    :)

Having a slight issue with the Tritton Warhead 7.1's.

I recently purchased the Tritton Warhead 7.1's for my xbox slim.

Everything works great so far as far as audio goes, but they differentiate from my Official PS3 bluetooth headphones in one aspect. When I turn on my PS3 Official bluetooth headphones, no more sound comes through the TV, only the headphones.

Yet, when I turn on my Tritton Warhead's, the sound comes through both my warhead's AND the TV. I'm wondering if this is standard with the xbox, and when using wireless headphones/headphones in general, you're just required to mute your TV?

I've connected my Xbox to my TV through an HDMI 1.3 cord. And the connection between my xbox slim and warhead docking station is a direct optical out connection (digital 5.1).

Thanks in advance for any input.

New 3.5mm Xbox One controllers don't seem to output sound unless a mic is detected?

I am having a similar issue with the new Master Chief controller for Xbox One. When I use my ear buds (without mic) I get sound through the controller and everything works fine. When I use my new headphones (over ear Bluetooth/aux capable) with the 3.5mm
cable it detects the headphones but does not play sound. The headphones work on all of my other devices with 3.5mm jack.

    Gaming Headphones

I have the Turtle Beach PX5's, and they are excellent. Really good sound quality, wireless, you can pair 2 Bluetooth devices with them so you can use your phone without having to take them off and stream Bluetooth music to them etc. You can also connect
a pair of wired headphones to the base unit so someone else can listen to the Dolby Headphones 7.1 output simultaneously. You can also connect them to your computer and create and download your own preset sound settings meaning you can tailor the sound to
your own tastes. They are very, very good.

    Xbox + PC Sound Question

    Hey there Padrino02.

To clarify, are you streaming your Xbox One to your Windows 10 PC? You should just be able to plug your headphones into your PC to hear both Xbox One and PC sounds.

Fire TV to Xbox to bluetooth no sound

Hi Tim, and thanks for getting in touch. I'm Aileen, and I'm here to provide you advice as an independent advisor.

I know how frustrating this kind of setup issue can be, especially when things seem like they should work but just don’t. It sounds like your Bluetooth headphones work fine when you're using the Fire TV normally, but once you switch to your Xbox through the HDMI input, you lose the audio. That’s a pretty common limitation, and you're not alone in running into it.

    Here’s what’s happening:

When you use HDMI input on a Fire TV (like when plugging in your Xbox), the Fire TV acts more like a regular TV passthrough; it shows the video and plays the sound through the TV’s speakers, but it usually doesn’t pass the HDMI audio out to Bluetooth headphones. That audio stream goes straight to the screen, not through the Fire OS.

    What you can try instead:

Connect your headphones directly to your Xbox

Xbox consoles don’t support regular Bluetooth audio, but if your headphones use a USB wireless dongle or the Xbox Wireless protocol, they’ll work directly.

If not, you could plug a Bluetooth transmitter into your Xbox controller’s 3.5mm headphone jack. It’s a simple workaround that gets you wireless audio straight from the source.

Check if your TV (not the Fire TV device) supports Bluetooth audio

Some smart TVs allow you to pair Bluetooth headphones directly.

If your Xbox is plugged into the TV’s HDMI input, and Bluetooth audio is turned on through the TV settings, that could solve it.

Look into your Fire TV audio settings, just in case

Go to Settings > Display & Sounds > Audio > Bluetooth Devices

But keep in mind, these settings usually only control audio from Fire TV apps, not external HDMI devices like your Xbox.

If you let me know your exact Fire TV model or your TV brand, I can double-check which of these options would work best for your setup.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance. Looking forward to your response.
