Xbox one Streaming no sound with bluetooth headphones

I have the Turtle Beach PX5's, and they are excellent. Really good sound quality, wireless, you can pair 2 Bluetooth devices with them so you can use your phone without having to take them off and stream Bluetooth music to them etc. You can also connect
a pair of wired headphones to the base unit so someone else can listen to the Dolby Headphones 7.1 output simultaneously. You can also connect them to your computer and create and download your own preset sound settings meaning you can tailor the sound to
your own tastes. They are very, very good.

I am having a similar issue with the new Master Chief controller for Xbox One. When I use my ear buds (without mic) I get sound through the controller and everything works fine. When I use my new headphones (over ear Bluetooth/aux capable) with the 3.5mm
cable it detects the headphones but does not play sound. The headphones work on all of my other devices with 3.5mm jack.

To clarify, are you streaming your Xbox One to your Windows 10 PC? You should just be able to plug your headphones into your PC to hear both Xbox One and PC sounds.

What you can try instead:

Connect your headphones directly to your Xbox

If not, you could plug a Bluetooth transmitter into your Xbox controller’s 3.5mm headphone jack. It’s a simple workaround that gets you wireless audio straight from the source.

Check if your TV (not the Fire TV device) supports Bluetooth audio

Some smart TVs allow you to pair Bluetooth headphones directly.

If your Xbox is plugged into the TV’s HDMI input, and Bluetooth audio is turned on through the TV settings, that could solve it.

Look into your Fire TV audio settings, just in case

Go to Settings > Display & Sounds > Audio > Bluetooth Devices

But keep in mind, these settings usually only control audio from Fire TV apps, not external HDMI devices like your Xbox.
