    Xbox One Streaming (how does it work in the background?)


    Im trying to figure out how this system works.

    I have the following devices at home.

    Xbox ONE, a 15.2 inch laptop with 720P screen, a 21.5 inch FULL HD monitor with 1080p output, and a 32 inch HD ready television with 720p output.

    XBOX ONE is currently connected to the 32 inch television (720p).

    When i start my high quality stream to my laptop, i wonder if it matters if i have my xboxone connected to the television or monitor, for the output i receive on laptop.

    does anyone know the answer to this? i can check this out myself tonight, but was wondering if anyone knows this here.

    Mic won't work through game streaming

    Ever since the update on xbox, my mic does not work through game streaming. On the top right it now shows a mute mic symbol. My mic is working fine as it works when I'm not using game streaming and just am playing on my xbox. How can I fix this?

    Streaming Video Issues

    Does anyone else have video streaming issues? Tried streaming a movie to the Xbox one thru localcast and allcast on my android phone and it doesn't work. It seems the update to windows 10 may have done something.

    It is transparent towards any display device that you may use.

    Wireless/wired; it doesn't matter which physical layer you're using for your connection type.

    the only other option I found was to connect an MP3 player to the 3.5mm jack on the controller and have party chat on to stream the music that way, but then you wont be able to use a mic

    A lot depends on the platform, some allow you to use music, some block because of copyright
