    I just recently bought an xbox one and im pretty dissapointed in the way i have to go about streaming my own media from my pc to the xbox one. I am a big fan of playing my own music while play games as it helps set the mood and helps focus, however on the
    xbox one it is not as straight forward. please get rid of this playto thing and make the media streaming like it is on the xbox360 where i could access my files (music/video) straight from the console without having to go on my pc and faff about. I'am sure
    i'm not the only person who finds this annoying.

    Today Only - Xbox Music Pass On Sale - $31.41 (Usually $99)

    To be fair, I know some other music services cost around the same yearly.

    Xbox Music streams unlimited music and music videos with no ads. You can have custom stations, the radio, and custom playlists everywhere you go. I have Xbox Music on my Xbox and iPhone. You can also listen to it offline.

    To me, I see it as an alternative to downloading music, which also costs more, and I'm too lazy to do.

    Its only Pandora now and it's not a worldwide app and moving music to one drive is actually very annoying, there should be an app were you can stream music from your phone to xbox

    Corrected when trying to stream music on my XBOX One from my PC using media player app, I do this because playlists are also playable, the music files are no longer found. Video files and picture files are still able to be streamed. I am wondering since
    the add of music to onedrive and xbox music did they remove the ability to stream music with media player. on another note the media player on the One is awful compared the players on the 360.

    So, to clarify, you aren't able to play the videos from the playlist that you set up on your Xbox 360? The streaming of Music Videos is a feature of Xbox Music on the Xbox 360 console only. There's some info in our

    FAQ: Listen to music and music videos on Xbox 360 with Xbox Music    .

    The functionality to search, play, and view Music Videos is not in the Xbox Music app on other devices.
