Xbox One Strange Clicking Noise in System.

Hi, i was playing the XB1 a few days ago when it started making this strange slow clicking noise. When this happens, the game i play doesn't load any more data so basically everything at that point in the game is stopped and i cant progress. Xbox home menu
doesnt work and when it does, it just stays there, i cant do anything else. It also overheats easily at this point. Now here's the REALLY bad part. It wont let me soft reset, i need to do a hard reset. Sometimes it will turn off but the clicking is still made
so i have to unplug it. Now even when i wait for a few min and plug it back in i get the notorious "GSOD" or Green Screen of Death. Next day it would either work again or not, repeating the process again. I can only play like maybe up to 20 min before it happens.
Please help.

Game freezing, console makes clicking noises?

Ok, now I know the console is fine...

Any update on the clicking though? I'd like to resume my original character but apparently that one makes my console do strange noises....

By leveled I meant just flat or not at an angle. Have you called xbox support? They may be able to help more.

Hey there -

That doesn't sound normal. First thing I'd recommend trying is a >>factory reset<< of your Xbox One console. If that doesn't help, and you are within
your retailer's return/exchange window, I'd recommend getting a replacement console through your retailer. If you are outside of that window, you should still be within warranty and you can explore repair/replacement options via the >>Online
Service Center<<.

Definitely a strange one but is perhaps overheating an issue? That can cause strange problems, physically and in-game. Is your console getting enough air? i.e make sure it is not lying on a bed or soft surface, not in contact with other warm devices such
as satellite boxes and where it is kept has enough circulating air.
