Xbox One storage nearly full so quickly

After installing 9 games into my Xbox One my Xbox is now on 96 % storag, the following games are

    bf4

    Forza 6

    Black ops 3

    Rainbow 6 siege

    BattleFront

    roblox

    sunset overdrive

After having my xbox one for 7 months I think that the storage has now rocketed up very quickly. I am unsure why this has happened and I Wish there was a way to see what has taken up all the storage.

My xbox one is now saying "13.9 GB free of 364.9 GB"

Is there anything I can do to see what has taken up all the storage?

    :)

    Xbox one storage full?

It shouldn't be full (there are 500GB of storage on the console). Highlight one of the games and click the Start button on the controller to manage it to see if you can get the download going again.

If that doesn't work then hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it restarts to see if that helps.

Storage is poor on xbox one your best bet is to purchase an external hard drive I've got two Seagate's one for me and one for my son I've heard Western Digital are good also.

Hi there Xbox One storage nearly full so quickly :)

The easiest thing for you would be to check the size of each game and see if it totals up to what storage space is used on your computer (plus the OS itself, any applications that you may have and the save data). Modern games tend to be pretty large in terms
if size (very often 40GB+ each).

As Mr Boozyhead suggested, one easy solution would be to get an external drive and store your games there. You shouldn't see any performance nor loading time differences from running your games off an external drive. I would recommend checking out
    WD Elements Portable,
    WD My Passport and
WD My Passport X (this one is designed specifically for Xbox console gaming). Xbox One storage nearly full so quickly :)

Post back if you want more info on any of the drives.

  6. As Mr Boozyhead And captain WD suggested, one easy solution would be to get an external drive . A temp solution is also uninstall the games you aren't going to play now they stay in your games list forever even if they are backwards compatible that you have
got on the 360 so you can still see you have the game without taking up the room. And to answer you other question about the 364.9 GB remember this is just like a PC so this would be a combination of OS,saved games, videos even pictures and videos not just
the game files. You can check this out with the steps on this link.

best thing is get a 2TB external passport drive, combining this with the internal allowed me to install 127 xbox one games and 89 backward compatable games and still leaves me 299GB.

Xbox One X error code 0x800704cf

Go into settings-system-storage - Clear local Xbox 360 storage. This will remove error no idea why unless storage is nearly full.
