    Xbox one storage and saved games question


    Hi I have an original Xbox one, some time ago I uninstalled a game and later on I bought the game again and installed it. So I thought that if you uninstall the game all game progress is erased too and you must start from the beginning, however this wasn't the case, as soon as I installed the game all my previous game progress came back. I was actually happy it happened, this way I don't have to play the game from scratch. But anyways my question is how do you delete game entirely including the progress and saved game missions so that when you uninstall it, nothing is remembered

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    You may need to manage this. You will be needing to delete the cloud-saved progress.

    "1. On Home, select My games & apps.

    2. Highlight the game, press the Menu button on your controller, then select Manage game & add-ons.

    3. Select the Saved data box, then choose the item you want to delete.

    4. Choose "Delete Saved Data" then "Delete Everywhere".

    The Xbox One automatically saves games to the cloud while you are connected to the internet. Game progress will be saved in the cloud storage of the account currently logged in.

    I guess I have one final question. Is there anyway to download game and saved data to play offline. And then once you connect to the internet again, it syncs your saved game data to cloud storage?

    You don't access the Cloud storage on the Xbox One. It's managed automatically, and is not user accessible.
