Xbox one stopped controlling my tv

May we have more information including error codes?

Here are some problem solving tips:

Try unplugging the HDMI Cable or Satellite Connections cables from the XBOX One.

Try resetting TV in Settings manually.

Same thing happened to me. Turns out my Kinect died. MS wanted $60 for a refurb kinect, so I went to Best Buy and got the IR blasters that plug in the back of the Xbox for less than $10 to control my TV. Just so you know, the Xbone S has an IR blaster
built in on the front of the console.

I used ro get this with my xbox and any controller. I was picking up interference from one of my other electrictonics. Not sure which one was the culprit. Moved my xbox one x to a different spot and it all stopped and my controllers do not disconnect anymore.
It is now further away from my TV and my surround sound. Plus now I do have a different TV also. Dont know if that's something you setup will let you try. It help in my case though.

My controller stop working too series x , factory controller . Last night working and today my samsung tv remote control my xbox and the xbox controller no longuer view by the xbox , i use another controller from my other xbox seris s , and this controller work but not the one work last night , i try the little button to match xbox with but nothing , the controller do no longuer view on my xbox series x , can control de series s but can't be view or connect to the series x anymore

the xbox does not support cec or hdmi control, you would need to go to tv setting on the xbox and setup tv control again as it may have lost the code, the xbox controls tv's via infrared only.

I have this same issue, I just got my Xbox One X, and set up the Xbox to control my TV as well, and the Xbox says it recognizes my TV and is controlling it, and will turn itit onon and off, but when it comes to controlling the volume nothing will happen.
