Xbox one STILL cant turn my TV on!!!

I have a Panasonic TV which requires a long hold down of the IR button to switch on. I was told on another thread that once the TV updates came in June that this was a problem that had been patched (this was told to me by a moderator, his name escapes me).
Well the XONE still will not turn my TV on. It will do everything else fine (change channels, volume etc, switch off). The Model is LX-T42ET5B I think. I have messed with the IR delay in setting. Still doesnt work. This is a common thing on Panasonic and Samsung
tvs in the UK. (Oh I have also messed with toggle / turn on / do nothing in the power setting menu).

Any Ideas??

Do i have to keep my xbox always on if i want to watch tv?

Because the HDMI of my cable is running through my Xbox, when i turn the xbox off, i cant watch tv. Do i have to keep the xbox always on and switch between both or is there a way to turn xbox off but still watch tv?

 

Xbox wont turn on my tv

We have now had the UK TV update, Xbox still will not turn my TV on. I have messed with the IR delay I have faffed with the power settings. It simply does not IR blast long enough for the tv to turn on. Everything else works. It is very frustrating. My TV
does support TV ON commands. So why cant you just have another option in the power setting so your choices would be Turn on / Toggle / Do Nothing / Turn on with Long IR Blast.

It cant be that difficult to code a longer IR Blast. Any Ideas as to when this will be fixed.
