XBOX ONE Stereo Headset Static Post March patch...... Does it happen to you?

i called support and they told me i was the only one having this problem! Im ***.

 

This has been happening for ages, I have updated BOTH my brand new controllers, Tried with both recharge kit and also standard batteries, The Crackling /popping is so bad that i have to unplug and plug my headphones over 6 times to get it to stop, and then
it starts 20 seconds later. Totally unacceptable.

I know I've posted in a few of these threads now, but hopefully by some miracle MS will notice it's still an issue for us all.

 

I just got the headset, and this problem - and I found a fix (at least, it fixed it for me):



Basically, head into your system Network settings, go to Advanced, go to Alternate MAC Address, Clear, and Reset. Totally eliminated the popping sound I was experiencing.

 

... temporarily. It comes back.

I bought the headset along with Alien: Isolation to try and get better effect out of the game, but all I cannot ignore the slight pops and crackles that come along with other noises. It is really annoying!

It seems to run fine for maybe 30mins - 1hr and then the static starts. My controller is fully up to date, I use a play and charge kit and I have tried both this and ordinary batteries, nothing stops the noise. Yet if you restart the console or even disconnect
the adapter you can get a further 30m or so of playtime before it is ruined once again.

Having shelled out £350 for the console and a further £45 for the headset I do not think it is unreasonable to expect an issue that has been around since March to already have a 100% fix?

 

It's beginning to border on absolutely ridiculous that I bought the XO7 and headset adapter near the beginning of March, and am still contending with crackling, popping, and static. It's one hundred percent unacceptable that someone should be expected to
pay 200 dollars and in turn receive poor audio fidelity like this, especially considering the fact that it has been nearly 8 months. 8 months! For somewhere around 4 or 5 of those months this has supposedly been getting "investigated", and yet a solution has
yet to arise. I'm skeptical of how much effort is really being put in to this. Given the sheer number of system updates and little tweaks we've seen on the console thus far, it seems rather silly that they've been unable to dig up the root of a significant
technical issue like this, and it makes on wonder whether or not there is a possible fix at all.

I posted back in June or July that it would be unfortunate to have to deal with this issue when the Master Chief Collection launches in November, and it's now looking like that's an increasingly more likely possibility. Xbox One has some awesome games, but
this has been incredibly disappointing.

Same problem here. I'm using the Turtle Beach XO4's. Every now and then my controller disconnects and I have to do a hard re-boot of the console to regain sync. There is constantly a popping/tapping sound when listening at a medium-high volume. It usually
occurs when there's a moment of loud audio. This needs to get fixed asap.
