xbox one stereo headset problem

Hi there

I purchased the xbox oen stereo headset and adapter yesterday.

I updated the controller and the headset works great. But everytime I now power up the controller with the headset plugged in, it asks me to update the controller again...and when i try to update again, it fails...

Otherwise it works great.

Any suggestions?

Same problem on 2 controllers...

feedback through the console will be the best way to make sure the team is aware that you are having an issue.

Also, it might be helpful to know when you say "...actual headsets designed to work with XB1", are you referring to the "Xbox One Stereo Headset" ? If so,
may I suggest you double check "Set up and troubleshoot your Xbox One Stereo Headset" .

yes i also have this same issue. anyone have a solution?

i can cancel the update prompt and use the adaptor with headphones but its getting annoying.
