Xbox One stereo headset mic to quiet in the party chat.

For some reason when I use it, people say they can barely hear me. Does anyone know what's wrong or is that just an update thing they gotta do?

The mic that came with the Xbox one works. My adapter chat button makes the game volume higher. Is it suppose to be like that?

Hello, you would need to purchase a stereo headset designed designed for the Xbox One in order to get your game sound through your headset. Microsoft has their own variant

www.xbox.com/.../stereo-headset but there are third party companies which sell certified for Xbox One (Just make sure it says it's available for use with Xbox One).

If you buy a third party headset you may also need to purchase the Xbox One chat adapter so you can connect your headset to your controller

Some companies include them in the box, some don't.

Either way if it comes in the box or not you need to wire your controller up to your Xbox One in order to download the firmware for the chat adapter to it

I own both the Xbox One Stereo Headset and the TB XO Sevens. I've been testing them both out for a few weeks and will decide to keep only one of them. In party chat, with the MS Stereo Headset I was told that I sounded quiet. I was able to raise the volume
of my voice a little by trying different angles with the boom mic. When I was playing with the XO Sevens, I was told that I sounded like I was in the same room as my buddy, loud and clear.

I'm having a hard time making a decision on the headsets, because the MS one is literally half the cost of the TB ones. I like everything about the MS ones except for the loudness of the boom mic.

 

I have tested on upload studio and the mic sounds fine but when Im in a party people can barely hear me that use kiect. I've also used on other items and the mic is pretty loud. Do you think you could be the chat adapter or is it just a feature they need
to implement better?

 

Bump, I'm having this problem too. Any fix?

 

There is a hole outside the mic. Close it by tesa or something and it works fine. It´s the noise listener that dont work.
