    Xbox one stereo headset MIC NOT WORKING


    Hi,

    I would like to know if there is a fix to my issue. My xbox stereo headset mic is not working. It also indicates i have a mic plugged in when i join a party, but my friends can't hear me. When i twist the headset jack it sometimes works. I have also checked
    if i'm muted.

    The mic that came with the Xbox one works. My adapter chat button makes the game volume higher. Is it suppose to be like that?

    will produce sound from the xbox one controller to the xbox one stereo adapter which the headphones will allow you to plug the XBox Headphones in and hear sound and chat with the mic.

    watch the video in the link above. At the end it shows the adapter, and the cord on the headphones that you would plug in.

    Is this an xbox stereo adapter or the default chat headset that comes with the Xbox?

    If its an stereo adapter, please share what mic/headset is being plugged in. Make / Model#.

    Is it just sound you are having an issue with or the Mic as well? You can test the mic by invoking Cortana provided she has been enabled. Just say "Hey Cortana" and see if she starts listening (the app will appear on.the right hand side of your screen).
    What headset are you referring to? You said it's a stereo headset, is it the Xbox stereo headset or a different one?
