    Xbox one stereo headset mic not working


    I have been having an issue with my mic not picking my voice up when im in a game lobby or a party. It shows the mic is connected and I can hear just fine and i know the mic works from making phone calls with the headset. I have tried all three of my controllers
    and two different headsets. I have changed every setting, checked NAT, hard reset, factory reset, new batteries, systems updates, controller updates, every suggestion from every video and article I can find and still it will not work. Im at a loss any suggestions
    would be appreciated.

    The mic that came with the Xbox one works. My adapter chat button makes the game volume higher. Is it suppose to be like that?

    I have a turtle beach px21 headset and purchased the xbox one headset adapter. The stereo sound is coming through really well, but the mic isn't working with it. Is this a known issue or is my headset mic not compatible with the xbox one?

    Headset not working, i can hear people, but they cant hear me.

    My mic doesn't appear to be working on my Xbox One Stereo headset. Interesting are you by chance in the Xbox One preview program buckeye?

    X Box One Controller is muted

    Our xbox one controllers stopped working with the stereo headset (just the mic) all simultaneously.

    We tried plugging it into the 3.5 mm jack. None of my 3 controllers worked after having worked fine for months. All updated to latest firmware.

    I tested the headset on my iphone and the mic was fine there- I could record voice memos with no problems

    went to GameStop and spent $50 for the stereo headset adapter, and that allowed the mic to work again for another 30 days.



    Now the mic is stuck on mute again, the headset adapter’s slashmark icon stays lit
