Xbox one stereo headset info wanted

I have the stereo headset and it works perfect, but good luck if you have a big head. I am 6"1 and it barley fits and is slightly tight. If my head was any bigger it wouldn't fit.

The balance buttons allow you to go to both extremes, so you can have game audio only, voice/party chat only, then there's a bunch of steps in between.

The issues with voice chat are not related to the headset. They seem to be related to the party app. Very occasionally I will join a party and nobody can hear me and I can't hear them. Very occasionally I will be in a party, everything is working fine, but
then suddenly nobody can hear anybody else talking. I reported this and was told that MS are working on updates to fix stuff like this. The vast majority of the time it works fine for me though.

You could also try buying the headset adapter if you already have a nice 360 headset. The adapter works, but it may be hard getting used to at first. I use my 360 X41 wireless 360 headset and works great for me.

If you want to spend a bit for for the full 360 stereo then the Turtle Beach XO4's are decent.

You need to update the controller to get the full Surround Sound but it comes with a USB to controller adaptor to do this.

Great for games like "Alien" and "The Evil Within" and pretty much anything else really.

The sound quality is great for the price. I have a Stealth 500X headset too and the MS one has better sound quality IMO, although of course it's just stereo and not simulated surround sound like the 500X. If I go back to using the 500X, the sound is really
"hollow" in comparison. It offers good sound isolation too, although that can make it hard to tell how loud you're talking into the mic sometimes as there's no mic monitoring option. The voice chat quality is really good.

The headset adapter allows you to adjust the balance between game audio and chat/party audio using 2 buttons, so there's not separate volume controls for each. Instead, if you press the game audio button, for example, it will raise the volume of the game
audio and lower the volume of the chat/party audio by one small step. Using those 2 buttons you can get the right balance so you can hear your friends talking and hear the game audio too. It also has a mute button with a light on it, so that you know when
your mic is muted, and volume up and down buttons.

The Kohls near me has them...my wife used her coupon magic there and got these bad boys for $16.99. They work great and for that price...i can NOT complain.

I own them as well and like them great for the price. Left and right for sure but you aren't going to tell if they are front to back because no surround. Good to great sound quality and mic arm that slides up and away is great. If you are looking for
a nice base headset I would say they are great.
