    Xbox one stereo headset audio issues


    Recently bought the microsoft stereo headset because my turtle beaches broke, never had any problems with my turtle beaches but when i bought these i could see a major difference in audio quality, for some reason these microsoft hesdsets sound really muffled
    and underwater in some aspects. My 40$ turtle beaches were crystal clear but these ones sound very weird. I tried messing with all the settings and enabling dolby made the game audio sound somewhat decent but everything still sounds so meshed and compressed.
    Has anyone ran into this issue? The gunshots/footsteps sound really faded in some ways just trying to clear this audio up so i can continue to use this headset, any help would be amazing, thank you

    Can I use a Xbox one sterio headset with a DVI converter?

    Just tested this and it will work.

    Xbox One connected to a monitor using an HDMI Cable. Set the Display settings to DVI. Meaning no audio is being transferred over the cable. Attached Headset Audio adapter to an updated xbox one controller and plugged in the Xbox One Stereo headset to the
    adapter, got Stereo sound on the headset without any issues.

    Sorry to hear about the audio issue! Is your headset plugged into the optical audio port on the Xbox One console or in our Stereo Headset Adapter through the controller?

    If you do not have the RCA out, the only way this would work is if the Headset uses the Optical Out of the ONE

    To get in to details Turtle Beach Says: Please note that you will need to connect this headset to the stereo outputs from your TV or audio receiver for game audio and use the Kinect® for game chat with Xbox One.

    This is correct. Using the Xbox One Stereo Adapter (support.xbox.com/.../stereo-headset-adapter), you can use any of the following types of headsets:

    As far as suggestions, that is a little harder for me to do. I am a huge gamer on console and PC and I strongly recommend Steelseries headsets, however, if you are an audiophile or use them for more multimedia related things, someone may be able to suggest
    a better headset/headphones.
