Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter/Mic Easy Fix.

I feel this should be added to the trouble shooting part for both devices.

Step one. Unplug the device from the controller.

Step two. Turn off controller.

Step three. Remove back battery panel. ( This is where you put your batteries in even if you have a plug and play like me )

Step four. Remove batteries or plug and play pack, then put them back in and insure it is firmly in place.

Step five. Replace back battery panel, then turn on controller and plug device back in to it.

It should work like a charm, I have spent the last two hours trying to fix this. I was upset that I was going to have to wait 15 days to replace a device that I have had for less then six months. But after this fix I have found that if the batteries or battery
pack gets jarred and is just a hair lose the device will not work. I tested this countless times by gently bumping the controller with the palm of my hand. When the device stopped working it would be fixed by following these steps every time. I hope this helps

The mic that came with the Xbox one works. My adapter chat button makes the game volume higher. Is it suppose to be like that?

Once you have it, you'll update your controllers, and then just plug your Beats into the adapter and you are off. If you use the cable with the mic built in, you can also use it for chat as well as game audio.
