Xbox One Stereo Headset, adapter and update

Since M$ isn't ever going to support my Halo Limited Edition Tritton Warhead Wireless Headset I decided to buy the new Stereo Headset as my headset that came with the Xbox One stopped working. Ever since I updated the controller because of the new adapter
my controller now constantly locks up and I have to pull the battery out and plug it back in for it to start working again. I literately can not play for more than 30mins to an hour with out it locking up on me. Most times I'm mid game when it does it or just
sitting idle and the headset starts to buzz like crazy and the controller locks up.

I'm so sick of all the problems that the Xbox One has with games/party chat and just about everything related to the console itself and looks like you can't even get the controller right. I updated the controller as required and as I said I have nothing
but problems ever since. The controller was fine until I bought this headset. Is this a known issue and is there a fix on the way?

How do we update the controller? NO USB Cable comes with Xbox One.

About updating controller, To use the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter with your Xbox One Console, you’ll need to update your Xbox One Controller with the latest software to support the Adapter.

So Titanfall controller update is done by over air, no cable, (February update) and Stereo Headset Adapter controller update you need an cable, which comes with the adapter (March update).

Forget it ,I just per-ordered a PS4 with Watch Dogs. I've had enough of all the rubbish I have to go through just to play a game and chat with friends. Good luck to anyone that stays with this company but not me, I'm out. So long and good riddance
