  1. Xbox One Stereo Chat Adapter Problem

I purchased the chat adapter and hooked it up to my Astro A40's (has Mixamp). Now the problem I have is that the audio coming out of the adapter is the game sound mixed with the chat. So using this on the Astro mixamp is causing a slight echo, and the
game sound is much louder than the chat.

Is there a way that the game sound can be not piped through the adapter, and only the chat be sent through?

    :)

  2. Xbox one App

•Some third-party products come with a stereo headset adapter that may look different from the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter made by Microsoft, but they all function the same way.

•You can only connect an Xbox 360 Chat Headset using the stereo headset adapter with a 2.5-mm to 3.5-mm converter, which comes with the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter. The Xbox One Stereo Headset does not include this adapter cable.

    Mic not working

    funny

I have a similar problem see below

Xbox one original controller, stereo headset adapter and headset and I can hear in game chat but as soon as I connect to party chat, they can hear me but I cannot hear them. I tried the original headset that comes with the xbox one and it worked so I figured
it was the stereo adapter. so I purchased a new stereo adapter and have the same issue. so I purchased a new controller with 3.5mm jack. I have the same issue. but if I use my headset connected to the 3.5mm jack on the new controller party chat works fine,
but doesn't work connected to stereo adapter (and I tried 2) So I thought I would try on my sons xbox one (we have 2 xbox ones in the house) so we swapped headsets , controllers and stereo adapters and I had the same problem on my xbox one. whereas his was
working fine (and he was using my controller, headset and adapter) So it would seem to be an issue with my console, that is the only hardware difference. any ideas?

Television Audio Through Xbox One Headset

If you are talking about the Chat headset, that comes with Xbox One, then No. If you are talking about Stereo Headset, with an Stereo Headset Adapter. then Yes. Using the Stereo Headset Adapter give to both Chat and Game sound to the headset. If you TV,
is connected to the Xbox, your TV sound, will go to the headset.

Xbox app blocks game audio during chat

Hey there Jbird thanks for keeping in touch.

Unfortunately, the solution to this problem is in fact the Xbox controller as with it, the headset would be able to stream both game and chat audio. Check out our Using the

Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter with Windows 10 page
as it states The Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter lets you plug a compatible chat or stereo headset into the
Xbox One Controller so you can control your audio experience on a Windows 10 device without taking your hands off the controller. We hope this clarifies this issue.
