Xbox One Stereo adapter with Windows 10?

So I'm trying to set up sound playing through my wireless xbox one controller. Its connected to my PC using the wireless receiver. How do I get sound to play from my PC to my controller through the stereo adapter? I googled it and the supporting documents
seem very basic.

If this makes more sense.

Windows 10/PC Sounds -> Wireless Adapater -> Wireless Xbox One Controller -> Stereo adapter -> Headphones.

My control xbox one not connected to the computer

Please, get the App "Xbox Accessories" from Windows Store, and try again. It will try to update your Windows 10 drivers or Xbox One controller firmware.

If that does not work, try to update Xbox One controller firmware through your Xbox One console with a USB data cable.

Stereo Headset Adapter as Audio Source only

Hey there beni spller!

With the Stereo Headset Adapter for Xbox One, most headphones with a 3.5mm headphone jack will play game audio!

Hello, the connected headsets should simply appear in the Audio panel (right click the little audio icon the right lower corner of the taskbar > open Playback or Recording Devices).

It will appear in those two tabs, Playback Devices and Recording Devices, set it as the default device in both and that's it.

Thanks for the help, but is there a way to do as such with an Xbox one controller? My headset is wireless so getting a controller will not help unless I also get a new headset.
