    Xbox one stays on home page, controller unresponsive.


    When I turn on the Xbox One with my controller, it stays on the home page and wont move. Controller is unresponsive, I cannot sign in, nor anything else.

    It was working fine last night, with no apparent issues. Any ideas?

    Unresponsive Xbox One Controller

    Help! help my xbox one controller is connecting the lights are on and its plugged in because i don't use
    batteries but its completely unresponsive everything doesn't work i turn on my xbox and it just stays on home-screen with all my friends sending my party invites and i cant accept them PLEASE HELP!

    Unresponsive while Connected

    While in my game today my controller became unresponsive while still connected. It wouldn't go back to the home page, none of the buttons were working and none of the joysticks were responding either. After disconnecting my controller and reconnecting, then
    updating the controller it came to being the only way for me to use my controller is to have it directly connected to the console now. Once the chord comes lose the controller says it's connected and on but unresponsive.

    Check the batteries to ensure they're full. Also, the troubleshooting guide for the Xbox One Controller being non responsive is here

    Another thing you could try is to power cycle the console. Press the Xbox button on the front of the console and hold it until it powers down. Look at the power brick, or block which is on the power cord and wait until the light goes orange then power
    it back on. Press the Xbox button on the controller to power it on also. You will see the green loading screen while everything syncs back up.

    Xbox One S Keep crashing after few minutes of use since October update....

    I have almost the same Issue on the standard Xbox one ever since the last update crashing freezing glitching having to power cycle as Xbox becomes unresponsive to controller.

    notice sometimes if you hold home button and select turn off Xbox it locks up and wont shut down turn on or anything just the turn off controller or Xbox screen stuck and unresponsive end up power cycling think up to my 20th power cycle sinse the update
    grrrrrr.

    Microsoft You have broken my Xbox please Fix it :(

    Im having the exact same problem. I'll be playing away and suddenly my controller will just drop off completely or it will stay on but be unresponsive sending my character on an uncontrollable charge into a wall.
