    Xbox one status blank for a certain friend


    For some reason one of my friends on Xbox is online but the game they are playing for example or whatever shows nothing. This has been going on for a while, but I don't know if this is a bug or not. If it is a bug, how could it be fixed? Note: I censored

    While I had an xbox 360 I deleted a certain friend. Now I have an xbox one system and the person is still on my friends list but under their new gamer tag for the xboxone one system. How does this happen?

    On Xbox One it is possible in the setting to change to prevent other gamers from seeing what games you are playing. To change this go to Setting / Account / Privacy & online safety / Xbox Live privacy / View details & customise / Online status & history

    Blank Status on Friends, but showing as online

    I have seen everything else they play or are doing app wise. Not sure they'd go through the effort to hide one thing all of a sudden. At first I thought this could have been a bug or something, but doesn't appear to be. Also, again, it's when they go on
    their mobile it seems.

    Here's and image of when they're on, but nothing shows. Don't have one of when they're not on and says Last Seen such and such time: then it's blank

    On Xbox One it is possible in the setting to change to prevent other gamers from seeing what games you are playing. Its possible to change these go to Setting / Account / Privacy & online safety / Xbox Live privacy
    / View details & customise / Online status & history.

    This could maybe be why its not showing what they are doing. Maybe they have set everything to private.

    Maybe you could share a screenshot to help further elaborate.

    Maybe they could possibly be playing a windows or steam game but their Xbox account is signed into their PC so it says they are online. You could try to pm them and ask what they are playing. I tried to research what the problem is on google but I couldn't
    find many results.

    I already returned one Xbox One now the replacement is having the same issue

    I got a day one console, and returned it because of controller disconnecting continuously. My new xbox one not only has the controller disconnecting issue, but this blank screen issue that you are describing as well. Definitely not an HDMI issue. Never
    happened once with the previous xbox. This is ridiculous. One of my friends is having the same blank screen problem as well.
